2018 KAWS Scholastic Art Award
Taryn Seely, a high school senior at Chanute High School in Chanute, KS is the winner of the 2018 KAWS Scholastic Art Award. Her work, an outstanding fiber collage titled “Puppy Kisses”, created using textured textile pieces, fiber and wood, was selected by judges Mary Sue Foster and Nancy Squire. Her art educator is Charles Bishop.
Taryn will receive her award at the 2018 Eastern Kansas Region Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony at MarkArts in Wichita, Kansas, where the exhibit is displayed Feb. 2nd to Mar. 10th.
