KAWS 2023 Vendor Opportunities
The Kaw Valley Fiber Guild will be hosting the annual statewide conference of the Kansas Alliance of Weavers & Spinners in Lawrence, Kansas, from June 9-11, 2023.
We are looking for vendors for Friday evening and Saturday. Space is limited; booth spaces will be filled on a first come-first served basis.
Vendors will be present Friday evening and all day on Saturday, complementing the morning and afternoon classes, luncheon, keynote address, and a Friday evening program.
The Friday night reception and the Saturday events will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 2415 Clinton Parkway, Lawrence, KS (near 23rd and Iowa). Sunday’s schedule includes a Dye Day at a different location in Lawrence.
- Friday set up: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Friday sale time: 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
- Saturday : Church will be open at 6:30 am
- Saturday sale time: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm (Open to the public from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm)
- Saturday pack up times: 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
The exterior doors of the church will be locked when the conference is not in session.
The booths will be 10’ x 10’. We will provide one table and two chairs per booth. Electricity will be available on a shared, limited basis. Vendors will be responsible for collecting and submitting sales tax.
The fee for each vendor space is $35. Checks can be made payable to the Kaw Valley Fiber Guild. Please click on the link below and fill out the application form.
Final notification of booth space will require that the $35 vendor fee be submitted.
